Join us for an insightful day at the “Truth, Trust, and Technology” conference on 3 April 2025! The event kicks off at 9:00 AM with opening remarks by Jan Piasecki, followed by a keynote speech at 9:30 AM by Mikołaj Morzy on “Demystifying AI Tools and Their Social Influence”. After a coffee break at 10:15 AM, we dive into “The Age of Misinformation” with talks by Yara Kyrychenko on “Disinformation in Times of War: Lessons from the Ukrainian Conflict” and Aleksandra Nabożny. The morning session concludes with a lunch break at 12:15 PM.
In the afternoon, we explore “Social Sciences About Misinformation” with presentations by Cecilie Steenbuch Traberg and Valentin Mang on “Lay Attributions of Misbeliefs Predict Intentions to Correct Misbelievers”. After another coffee break at 2:30 PM, the focus shifts to “AI Tools in Building Immunity to Online Misinformation”, featuring Michał Pluciński’s presentation on the Cyberware App and Jonas Kunst’s talk on “Mind Over Misinformation: AI-Driven Insights Into the Psychological Patterns Behind Conspiracy Beliefs”. The conference wraps up with closing remarks at 4:00 PM, followed by a mingling session until 6:00 PM.
